Learning through creativity

Some things are difficult to discover through conversation alone. Creative activities can help people explore ideas, express what matters to them and look at familiar questions from a different perspective.

In schools and universities, I design and facilitate workshops that combine learning, reflection and creativity. Whether working with secondary school students on personal values through street art, creating collective paintings during a themed project week, or facilitating a session on passion and purpose within the Hogeschool Utrecht minor Project van je Leven, the aim is always the same: creating space for exploration.

Creative methods invite people to participate in different ways. They encourage curiosity, collaboration and reflection, while making room for perspectives that might otherwise remain unseen. Rather than focusing on the final artwork, the value lies in the conversations, insights and connections that emerge along the way. By combining creativity with learning, participants are invited not only to think about a topic, but to engage with it more fully. This often leads to deeper understanding, new energy and a stronger sense of ownership over the learning process.

Looking to bring creativity into learning, reflection, or exploration? I design and facilitate workshops for schools, universities, and organizations that make room for new perspectives. Let’s explore what we could create together. Feel free to contact me.
