In June 2024, a group of CSO leaders came together once more in Kasulu, Tanzania, for a two-day follow-up training. Before the pandemic, they had already completed the intensive five-day leadership programme. This new session, again organised by the Libre Foundation in collaboration with local partner Prosper Kwigize, was dedicated to looking back, reflecting, and reconnecting.
Building on previous steps
Over the course of the two training days, we returned to the core elements of leadership: communication, collaboration, decision-making, and personal growth. The focus was on the practical experience the participants had gained since their initial programme. How had they applied the tools and mindsets from the earlier training within their organisations and in their personal lives? Their answers revealed a mix of challenges and remarkable progress.
Stories of growth
What stood out most were the personal stories. Two participants shared openly how earning their certificate had directly contributed to their professional development.
For them, the training had been more than theory — it had become a springboard that opened new doors.
