My VP asked me to develop a training tool for senior staff who have both high-level accountability for SP as well as those with specific accountabilities for delivery.
After an intensive design process, the SP Fenceline game was born. With this tool leaders will emotionally connect with SP and experience the complexity by using a case study.

I divided participants in groups of 4-5 people and allocate one facilitator for each group. The facilitator plays a situation card to the group. The groups represent a management team and discuss responses and write these on a response card. The facilitator plays a next card and a scenario unfolds… After playing for about 20 minutes we evaluate what has been happening.
In 2018 and 2019 the game has been played 10 times in the US, Canada, Nigeria, China, India, Singapore, The Netherlands and Kazakhstan.
