In June 2014, there was an incident at Shell Moerdijk creating fear and discomfort in the area. Communities were informed and engaged with a multichannel external communication programme, which included in-depth research, advertising, e-newsletters, website updates and face-to-face sessions in the communities and on site

Tasks
• Initiate and execute prompt advertising campaign directly after incident with extensive media pick up
• In depth community research
• Website and e-newsletter publications
• Door- to- door mailing to promote information channels and invite neighbours to meet Shell on the local markets or at the site
